Term 1, Week 15

Our last week together for 2012 and what a term it has been!

The week started with the fun of the Winter Olympics and festive spirit continued in Literacy where the children have been writing instructions on how to make festive decorations. They then self and peer assessed these against the specific features of this text genre to conclude our unit. We have also started work on telling the time, which is a tricky concept and one to work on over the holidays if you can. Our amazing dinosaur topic has also come to an end this week with learning about dinosaur diets and teeth and how food chains are formed. The children are already buzzing about what next term’s topic will be! The class party to finish the term was thoroughly enjoyed by all, thank you for providing all the treats!
